Winnipeg Real Estate 2012 Forecast

Here is some information from the WinnpegREALTORS® 2012 Forecast Breakfast. This is interesting information that suggests that 2011 was a fairly strong year and that 2012 will again be a positive year yet slightly lower on the price increases.

Average residential detached home sale price per zone in 2011

City Wide Detached Home average price was $256,600. This was a 6.20% increase over 2010. The average 2011 Days on Market for residential detached dwellings was 26 and the most popular price range were homes in the 200,000 to 249,999 price category.

Condo Average Sale Price for 2011 was $201,050. This is an increase of .05% from 2010. The Condo average Days on Market was 29 for 2011and the largest sector of condo sales were in the 150,000 to 199,999 price range.
