The former Sir John Franklin School park (located at Grosvenor and Beaverbrook) is now sold. The City of Winnipeg's proposal to purchase the Winnipeg School Board property was unsuccessful (the City planned to keep the park and maintain is as green space). The property was purchased by a developer who plans to redevelop the site into residential lots. If you are interested in seeing what changes will happen at this location, there is a public open house on Tuesday, November 26.
