New Mixed Use Condo in Osborne Village

Blog by Greg Hamilton, REALTOR® | November 19th, 2015

A new condo project in the Osborne Village has the green light to move forward. This project, designed by Sputnik Architecture, is located at 120 Scott Street. A public hearing on November 10th reviewed the Rezoning and Variance applications and they were ultimately supported by the City Centre Community Committee.

This mixed use building includes 8 residential units and one commercial unit located on the main floor. The commercial space will be the new location of the Sputnik offices. The mass and scale of this project encourages ground level activity and is designed to be a barrier free accessible building. The design is sensitive to the neighbourhood aesthetics, pedestrians and retains a large Oak tree (key to the building footprint). The 4th level units were set back to help scale down the massing of the building and each residential unit offers generous outdoor space. There will be 8 indoor parking stalls (one to one residential ratio) and secure bike storage for each of the residential units.

Another project to watch in the Osborne Village area!
