Blog by Greg Hamilton, REALTOR® | February 13th, 2014

Redevelopment plans for one of the oldest estates in the Osborne Village area (229 Roslyn Road) will be presented to the public at an open house on February 20th,2014.
Nanton Estate Gates'Kilnorie', the historic Nanton Estate at 229 Roslyn Road was built in 1900. Banker Augustus Nanton passed away in 1925 and Lady Nanton remained in the mansion to 1934 when the cost of maintenance became too great and the mansion was removed in 1935. All that remains of this historic site are the impressive entry gates, gatehouse and stable (which was converted to a dwelling).
