Development at 1000 Taylor Ave

A large parcel of land in the Grant Park area is being planned for a multi-use site. The developers are planning to re-zone the parcel at 1000 Taylor Ave (between Harrow and Nathanial) to C4 zoning which would allow retail, office, restaurant amd multi family uses. There is an open house on February 25th at the Quality Inn,635 Pembina Hwy, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. 

Corydon Osborne Neighbourhood Plan

The City of Winnipeg is developing a neighbourhood plan for the Corydon area. This has been in the works for the last year but there is still time to see what is planned and to add your input. There is an open house this Wednesday, Feb 15th from 4:30 to 8:30pm at the Gladstone School - 500 Gertrude Ave. There is a presentation at 6pm.

City of Winnipeg Flood Warnings

The Province and the City of Winnipeg have posted their Flood Forecast for this Spring. It looks like this will be a tough year on those living on or near the River. The City says that approximately 700 homes will require protection by temporary dikes if the river levels reach 25' James Avenue Datum. Disraeli Bridge update
