"As community show producers, WinnipegREALTORS® have brought together a media panel which includes Bartley Kives, reporter at large for the Winnipeg Free Press; Marcy Markusa, morning host of CBC Information Radio, Colin Fast, Metro Winnipeg urban affairs reporter and Peter Chura, anchor and producer of Global Winnipeg evening news, will act as the forum’s moderator.
WinnipegREALTORS® have been engaged in mayoral debates in the last 5 civic elections. “…in deciding new civic leadership we feel it’s important that the community has a voice in deciding who that will be.” said Kourosh Doustshenas, chair of WinnipegREALTORS® Government Relations Committee.
The LIVE debate features all 7 Mayoral Candidates and will incorporate Winnipeggers as ShawTV hits the streets asking the community for their questions. Viewers and audience members can participate in the program LIVE via twitter to @ShawTVWinnipeg and using the hashtag #YourMayor. Live tweets will be included in the broadcast.
